Volatility Uploader privacy policy
How Volatility Insights Uploader handles information in its personal YouTube publishing workflow.

Scope
This policy covers Volatility Insights Uploader, the tool described on the uploader homepage. It is used to manage the operator's own Volatility Insights YouTube channel.
Information accessed
The tool accesses the authorized YouTube channel's identity, video metadata and upload-processing information. Google provides access and refresh tokens so the tool can carry out authorized API requests.
How information is used
The tool sends operator-selected videos, thumbnails, titles, descriptions, chapter timestamps, tags and publishing settings to YouTube. It retrieves channel and video information to check the destination and confirm publishing results. Access is used for this publishing workflow.
Storage and security
OAuth credentials are stored in the operator's credential files with restricted file permissions. Production media, metadata and upload receipts are stored in the operator's production workspace. Credentials are kept out of public repositories and website files.
Sharing and public publication
Publishing data is transmitted to Google and YouTube to perform authorized actions. Videos, thumbnails and metadata become publicly visible when the operator chooses public publication. Google user data is not sold, used for advertising, or used to train generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.
Retention, revocation and deletion
Credentials are retained until the operator removes or replaces them. Production files and upload receipts are retained until the operator removes them. The operator can revoke authorization through Google Account connections and manage or delete published content through YouTube Studio. Revocation prevents future authorized API access; it does not itself delete already published videos or stored production files.
